This classroom activity uses a popular television show, Futurama, to help teach students about computer-mediated communication. Students are broken into groups which are constantly changing in membership. It has them communicate both face-to-face and online. Students begin to see how multi-tasking in communication can lead to broken communication. To read the activity and to adapt it to your classroom, click "classroom activity" on the left.
